Therapy
So, what can you expect from the therapy experience? I believe healing happens in relationship. When you work with a therapist, you allow an outside, unbiased professional to empathize with and provide insight into what you are experiencing. All thoughts and feelings are welcome in therapy, and I encourage the expression of them as a way to move forward.
Compassion
Your pain is valid. It is my goal to help you feel seen, heard, and understood. I will work with you without shaming you and hold compassion for you when it is difficult to do so yourself. Therapy is a place for making meaningful change. You can expect to be met with kind confrontation when you are getting in the way of your own healing and growth.
Collaboration
I operate from a person-centered lens, so your therapy and treatment will be catered specifically to your needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative experience, and it is my hope to make it as open and comfortable as possible.
